About Us

We did not intend the title, SCOFF to be an acronym at all, but after choosing the title it appeared that first letters spelled out “Sure Choice of Fine Foods”. On the basis that “food” includes “drink”, our mission statement was made out. However, readers should not suppose that this is a limiting mission statement, as our commitment is very much to the wide provision of information and entertainment, so we hope we can share this commitment with all our readers.

Add to this concept, our particular interest in the geographical area of Northern Lincolnshire, and you have the whole picture. If can spot improvements in what we do, please say so. If you like what you read we hope your will tell us, too. We’ll happily publish creative criticism and see what others think. We hope readers will find this magazine both absorbing and useful. Hopefully you will share with us a confluence of enjoyable reading, fellowship and other good experiences. We’re here for the duration.
